"We greatly enjoyed the visit!"

Our weekend activities included (among a lot of things) a long cold walk,
a little game of chess,
some snuggle time and
going to see Mother, who was so happy to spend time with Paula and Marc. We started out with a rendevous at Redondo on Saturday with Mary Anne and Sissy Bloomer. Sadly, I don't have any pictures of that, but if Paula does, maybe she could send me some!

More Snow

I had a call from a relative today. She's stressed by the snow. We had a nice visit from Paula and Marc over the weekend. They had their grandson Tyler with them and we all had a cozy weekend together. I'll have to borrow pictures from Doug's files and post a few, but I can't find them.
Here is what Doug and Tyler were up to just a moment ago. Danny has gone to day #2 at the UPS store job. yay!

Getting on with life

I pretty much put Christmas away today. I know it's a little late, but I needed a day when I would have a block of time to get it all done at once. Now, I just need to clean the entire house, including the lost room. I think there will be time for a good deal of that tomorrow.

Here is Doug with a couple of his more elegant Christmas gifts. Can you see the bling? He's off to Albertsons to get us pizza for dinner because I am all tuckered out from packing away the Christmas things. As usual, I found something hanging on the wall that I should have packed, but missed, and I don't want to restructure the boxes to fit it in, so I'll have to find a spot for it in the house somewhere. Let me just say that I packed more efficiently and weeded some things out and we're down from 5 to 4 boxes of Christmas!
